I'd think this only applies to older tractors not designed for ULSD. Newer tractors likely have fuel pumps where the impellers never fully touch each other.
I'm using B5 not, mainly because it's almost the same price as B0. It plugged up the fuel filter on the Benz after about 3 tankfuls. That was the finding from those who have used biodiesel and written about it. It cleans out the crude from the tank and sends it to the fuel filter. No problem on the tractor. Its not as old as the Benz and maybe didn't have much of a buildup of the petro sludge.
