I've now owned it for a week and have been way impressed with the power, ease of use, and the durability. Its a pretty amazing machine in comparison to the other tractors I have owned. Only thing that I have a problem with is the lack of my rear remotes! Apparently Bobcat sold a few thousand of these machines and the first ones to go used up all the remotes. I now have an 8tb backhoe I cant use until (I'm told) the first part of July... Hopefully I'll be digging by the 4th, but we'll see. Anyone else on here waiting on remotes?

waiting on rear remotes on a 335 in Kansas. I don't have a backhoe but can't fold the hay rake without them.

Yep.. Love it. I get what you are saying with the power issue but I think it all has to do with the fact that the ct's are all hydro powered. If you are trying to move your end loader at the same time you are pushing forward you rob power from the loader and your trans at the same time.. Not 100% sure but I think MOST hydro driven tractors are the same way. The ones I have used anyway. There is a definitely an advantage to both hydro and gear drive, but with a little practice you will get used to both. Does the pto tiller pull it down much? What rpm do you usually run it at?

Yeah my tiller does pull it down more than I thought it should also, I run it at the 2600rpm, if you put a lil steering into the tractor while tilling it almost trys to stall.

I have not had much time to work with it as of late because of weather.

Tinman, I starting to think there is something wrong with your tractor.
I've been reading your recent posts about low power and trying to stall backing up from a pile and while tilling.
I see your running a 60" tiller. Your 40 HP tractor should run that tiller with ease.
I'm running a 72" tiller on my DK 35 (35 HP) with no problem. I can turn the steering back and forth while tilling with no effect at all on power.

Tinman. I'm thinkin DK35vince has got it right. Sounds like something is wrong with the hydro systems on your tractor. It should run everything you have with no problem at all. Actually it should run a tiller the actual width of it (approx 72) with no troubles. Turning the wheel on my own hasnt seemed to have any effect whatsoever. Hope it all turns out for you. Maybe you should ask your deaker to let you run a different machine just to see.

Sounds like it may be an issue with the governor. I saw a LK3054XS doing similar one time and it is a gear tractor.

I have not had time to even run my tractor at all in the last week to really get a handle on whats wrong if anything, again it could just be operator error.

As soon as the dealer calls me for my rear remotes and hoe install I will go over it with them to see if anything is wrong or not. So for now it just sits.

I'll keep ya all posted on what transpires.

Thanks
