I have never seen anything like this. Although it does look like fun. How much does it take to build or buy something like this and in what part of the country do you find pulls like this?

The pedal tractor was origionally built for pedal tractor pulls. I made it bigger than scale because I want to build a adult version pedal tractor to also pull the sled. I made the sled out of aluminum and added the spring loaded casters to the pan so that all children could pull it with a stock pedal tractor. The walk behind garden tractor / butt buggy pulls was just a thought I had after thinking about what else could pull the sled. The sled wasnt cheep to make because the materials i used are very high in qaulity. I rather not say what I got in this sled, its probally to much, but I have a plan to regain some of the money on my investment. It was my own design, there is not much out there on building sleds this small. I live in Evansville Indiana / southwest corner of the state.

Closest I have seen is garden tractor pulls at neatta meets (New England Antique Truck and Tractor Association).

Some WILD 8 hp mowers out there.

I have never seen a butt buggy like those! Do you have design rules? weight classes? Most butt buggies I see are old riding mowers without decks, or home made 4 wheel rear drive tractor type machines.

I did a search and found Your Video!
YouTube - Butt Buggy Pull

Pretty neat eliminator. I like the size/budget of the machines.

Was the sled digging in a little? You might want to ramp the front like a....sled.

Years ago I won some trophys at a Stomper pull. I had a 6wd semi tractor Stomper with a reduction gearbox out of a Tiny Mighty Mo. Made a full pull with 2 AA batteries and about a pound of lead on the 5th wheel. The whole thing was held on the bar at a tavern in WI.
