Anyoen able to tell me what I missed?All the threads seem to appear on my screne.Did it somehow go wrong and the wrongful posts removed before they showed up?

Sometimes the offending comments are deleted and to stop it from getting any worse, they close the thread. The person who made the offending comments might not have realized he had crossed the line, or maybe he didn't care, either way, if the thread was allowed to stay open after his comments were deleted, he could just post again on that thread.

That's just my guess.

I was following that thread as well. Looked to me that a couple of members weren't "playing nicely" with each other. It looks like all of the argumentative posts were removed. I never really saw anything offensive though.

It really shouldn't come as a surprise that people don't like being told that they don't know what they are talking about. That's really what the gist of the argument was. The sad thing is when that sort of discussion starts you can pretty much forget about anything constructive coming out of it.

Still, it's kind of fun being a "fly on the wall" when it's going on

And I don't understand why this would be posted in this particular forum. In the first place, we don't normally discuss, in any of the public forums, what moderators have done. If you have a question or complaint you need to send a private message to Muhammad or one of the moderators. But just this once . . . Eddie Walker answered your question correctly.

The thread was closed at my request. I was one of the two "debating" an issue that got out of hand. Trust me, it needed to be "pruned". (Or took out and shot.... )

Errrr.....I think I may have played a pretty major role in the "controversy"...and upon occasion I may over-state my position. Sorry, some of that was un-called for....I think it's hard on the moderators...who do a good job in keeping things friendly.

I'll throw my two bits in to compliment the moderators on doing a great job. I feel like we have a lot of freedom on this forum to say whatever's on our mind, but I also feel like the moderators garner enough respect for the rules that everything is kept pretty civil.

I come here and it's like family...
