Steve sent those photos to me in an email as well.
He is a great guy. I wanted to say that he went out of his way to the Kama manufacturer to get some front drive spare gears for my Kama. He brought them home (hand carried) and shipped them to me. He saved me a lot of time and money.

Well, I was helping them after I took the pictures but when I left they were back to 1. Actually it was late in the day and everyone had gone home.

I have a quick question.. With the pictures above posted why do they show them assembled? Don't all Jinmas come to the U.S. in a crate? Or do they assemble them and then tear them down for shipping reasons? I'm new to this forum but you'll be seeing more of me on here.. Looks to be a great forum..

trust me, in China market, Jinma is not a big brand which is in top 3 sale in CHinese market.

Look at this website, Chinese biggest website for agri machine business information, in the right bottom, it shows the rank for the brand which customer concerned, the rank is: Foton, Wuzheng, YTO, John Deere, Cherry, then is Jinma.

Foton is #1?? That surprises me. I thought the foton was a spinoff of Jinma. I wonder what makes the foton so special? Price? Or overall better quality?

The link worked for me, but unfortunately I don't read Chinese ideograms so it is useless. It could be just a rant from Chairman Mao and I wouldn't know the difference. :thumbdown:
I do know that Jinma has been making tractors in China from as far back as the 1950's, so I 'd say they are well-accepted domestically and quite likely to remain in business a good while longer. I don't know anything about the history or provenance of any of those other Chinese brands mentioned, though I do know Foton has a good reputation these days. In the recent past Foton's reputation wasn't as good as Jinma's, but that very well may have changed - the new Fotons look like pretty polished machines in the pictures I've seen.
