I believe Northern tool handles foton now.. I wonder why they changed to the Foton vs Jinma? I also wonder if the jinma dealers are going to be able to get the Foton's as well? Or even want to..

Foton is #1?? That surprises me. I thought the foton was a spinoff of Jinma. I wonder what makes the foton so special? Price? Or overall better quality?

Go to Google images and search "Jinma" you'll see some tractors. Search on "Foton" and you'll see cars, SUVs, vans, pickups, buses, dump trucks, cab-overs etc. I think Foton is to China what Hyundai is to S. Korea or TATA is to India.

In China, Foton is more expensive than Jinma, I think because of Foton has better quality than Jinma, this is why Foton has more customers than Jinma.

One of my Europe distributor friend turned to sell Chinese tractor, after visiting several Chinese tractor factory, he told me that Foton has the most expensive agreement than ohter brand, but he still prefer Foton. I think Europe customer prefer Foton. How about in US market now?

Foton has nothing to do with Jinma and is a lot larger company. Foton is making a very good reputation for itself which is maybe why so many other Chinese manufacturers are copying their look especially Luzhong (but they don't have the quality). One of the options with many of the cheap Chinese tractors is a "Foton" bonnet to make it look like the real thing.
