It's probably an internet rumor, and if true I'd bet the anti-trust folks in the Gummint might have a problem with such a deal.

I could see Kubota going after Kioti or New Holland; but that's just a thought. However stranger things have happened in the corporate world.

Who would have thought that Chrysler and Fix It Again Tony would be hooking up.

Maybe buying a small part of Deere's consumer line, possible.

Don't have any stats to back up what I'm about to say but I'm pretty sure even though kubota rules the roost here on TBN I don't think you can compare the 2 companies, Deere is a gigantic global heavy equipment manufacturer. Doubt there are many entities that could make a play for JD, especially in these uncertain financially times.
