Oil & Fuel New Problem Oil leak on TN75D

Ws using the TN today and noticed a puddle of oil under it when I moved it. It appears that it i scoming from the PTO area. I can not see well because I need to drop the PTO back hoe to see better. Does anybody know how much of a deal it is to replace the seal on the PTO?

I wish I could help you but I have a similar question. I noticed my front axle is leaking oil on my TN65 and I was going to ask on here if anyone else has had to fix this problem on their TN and if there is anything I should worry about before I tear it apart.

Also, it is a very slow leak so I am keeping an eye on the level and hope to fix it after I am done with planting but before haying starts. Is this an ok plan or should I fix it immediately to avoid any other problems? Sorry to steal your thread Andy but hopefully we can both get answers

Dont know, but probably it isnt that. Probably from the BH PTO accouterments. Give it a wash then run it and watch it.

I just ordred a $10 seal which appears to be easy to install. Hope that is all it is.

Actually easier than that. One of those pesky bolts holding the rigid lines from the rear remotes to the loader which seemed tight wasn't tight enough. A quick wrench and voila, no more leak.

See picture, Bolt lower left is the one leaking and I do mean leaking.

Me too. Do you have service manuals? I have a full set that I bought on eBay from a dealer who went out of business. If you need any pages I could scan and send them to you as PDF's

Sorry Rick. I wasn't more specific in my original post. It is leaking out the end of the right side of the axle tube itself right where the knuckle is for the hub. According to the NH parts site there are two bearings there with the seal.

I don't have any service manuals so far as I have never needed them. This tractor has been quite solid ever since the first year. If you could scan the pages dealing with the front axle I would appreciate it. I have to pull the front right wheel off then remove the hub and everything should be fairly simple and straight forward from there on but I have never done this repair before so I don't really know what to expect. Thanks for the offer.
