I need some help with some pieces of equipment and whether it is worth working on and resurrecting or attempting to.

Here they are.

1 thru 3 - a hay conditioner maybe?

4 - a conveyor for bales I think

5 - a bale tosser

Any help appreciated - I may post some other stuff later.

1-3 are a hay conditioner. 4 looks identical to the bottom section of an old "Little Giant" brand hay elevator I had. 5, I hope someone does know.

I figured you'd know a little about these. Are hay conditioners like these worth resurrecting? Do you recognize the brand? It looks fairly narrow, do you run it over / through the windrows?

I did some searching on the 'Little Giant' brand to see what I could find. A few listed on Craigslist - not much demand apparently.

The last thing does throw bales, I may try and get it working just to see it in action.

Thanks again.

The conditioner is probably not worth reconditioning. Growing up on the farm, one of the jobs I had was following behind my grandad with a conditioner just like that on a model M JD, while he had a sickle mower on an AC D-14. Nowdays, mower/conditioners have combined these jobs. The sickle mower still has a limited place for offset mowing ditches, pond banks and such, but the conditioner is pretty much obsolete. The conditioner was used right after mowing, and using it shaved a day or so off drying time for the hay. I cant remember what brand ours was but it was red like that one. I would guess New Holland. Yours looks to be missing some of the sheetmetal.
