spam in classifieds

Classified tractor section needs a little moderator policing. There is currently a single tractor ad repeated 15 times that is clearly a fake based on price.

Thanks to whomever removed the spammy classifieds. You guys should consider some feature that allows direct notification of probably false ads so that we can just click a button rather than starting a post here. Kinda like what Craigslist does.

You are too late. I already sent the guy a certified check. He is going to deliver the tractor as soon as he gets back from his vacation in Nigeria.

Another scam classified ad today where the guy has put his email address in the photo. There is no "alert the moderator" button feature with the classified. How do you want us to notify the moderators when we see these ads?​

The moderators cannot do anything in the CLASSIFIEDS section of Tractorbynet. So the thing to do is what you did; post the message in this News/Feedback forum or send a private message (PM) to Muhammad because he is the one who has to correct problems in the CLASSIFIEDS.

Thanks for the clarification. Assuming Muhammed reads this thread, it would be a good idea to put some sort of alert button on each classified ad the same way that Craig's List does so clear spam and scams can be promptly brought to his attention.

That sounds good to me, but of course, being a computer dummy, I don't know what all that would entail as far as programming and such.

The Kubota 3830 ad is either still there or perhaps reposted since this morning. Again, the poster has put his email address in the photos which is a pretty good sign of a scam. Also the price is at least 10K low which leaves little doubt.

There is a 07 Kubota for sale for under $5000

It has a lot of attachments with it. No way could that be true.

If it was i would buy that and sell it for a much higher price.
