I have an 03 lb07 dmax, over 90k on original injectors, it has been chipped since 7k, most of the time spent on 60hp. setting. The warranty just expired due to time, and I have a 4in exh, cold air intake, Kennedy ecm, and trans upgrade with converter, just waiting for me to get some free time to install,[probably this summer]. I can't wait to see how it runs after all the mods. I will probably go ahead and do the injectors at that time just to be on the safe side, $1500 for injectors is better than 40k for a new truck IMO. I hear ya about being angry at the trailer, I hesitate to punch mine to hard off of the line while towing a loaded trailer, as I am afraid of snapping the ball off of my hitch.

IIRC 2006 had both, depending on the date of mfg.

I know all about the injector problems. It still looms on the LLY. Been there.

2001 - LB7 two sets replacement

2002 - LB7 3 sets replecement

2006 - LLY 1 set replecement

2007 - LBZ none. Sweet engine at stock.

The 04.5-05 LLY is totally different than the the early 06 LLY.

The lift kit is a pain in the ***** to get in and out of. *Thats the only thing keeping me away.

*That would turn me off real quick.
With the truck lifted I probably could not clear the sides of the bed with the loader bucket on my BX23 to load the truck with my tractor.

There is no way in heck anyone with a truck like that would be dumping gravel out of any loader into the bed of it. That thing is a show truck, not a beater.

You want to do that buy a $2000 1990 F-250 gas truck like the other guy posted and do not get attached to it. When its done, send it too the bone yard. I can tell you there is no way a loader of any type with any loose material is getting near any 3 of my trucks. Too much chance for damage. The only thing I lift in and out is things I can pick up with the forks on in place of the bucket.

1*Exactly why I want a work truck instead.
2*And I can say there is no way in heck that I'm going to shovel 2 or 3 thousand pounds of dirt or other such loose materal into the truck.
3*I've loaded my Dodge D 50 pick up at least 35 times with my BX23 loader with no problems or damage.
As long as my loader bucket will clear the sides of the bed I see no problem with doing the same with a 3/4 or 1 ton pick up.

I have loaded pea-gravel in my 05 F-250 before, but it had a bed-liner in it.
