Another 20% coupon from HF

I get coupons from HF on 3 different email address, 2 are mine- work and home, and 1 is the wife's. I've noticed the 15-20% off ones will all have different barcodes, I presume to identify the user and to maybe prevent multiple use
It would be interesting to see if only one guy gets to use the coupon posted

I see this one's for only a single item, unlike the last one posted. I guess it'd be a good time to buy a lathe, if one were so inclined (seems like that's the most expensive thing I've seen in the HF catalog).

I doubt that Harbor Freight would go to the effort or expense of doing different bar codes for each person they mail this to. I'll bet that everyone who gets this email has the same bar code, and they just scan it so they can prove the discount went to someone other than an employee's friends.

yes i do it all the time when i shopped there.
i've given coupons to others in the store and they used them no problem.
Now i know lowes for sure use one time use bar codes.
I bought a 9" lathe the belt driven green mill drill both on clearance for about $700 with stands half of what they cost because the store was not carrying them anymore.

Third line down in small print from " COUPON IS NON-TRANSFERABLE"

"This coupon cannot be duplicated in any manner including photo copies and computer printouts".

Why would you doubt it when I just told you FOR A FACT they do.

I also said I get 3 coupons on 3 different adresses and they are ALWAYS different barcodes.

Like I said I'm not sure WHY they do it but they do.

The two coupons showed by others did not arrive on any of my 3 sources this time...maybe its regional?

Well, if any of you have issues with the coupon, I would recommend that you sign up for their email fliers. Given that the economy is in the toilet for the foreseeable future, I would expect to keep seeing these sent out. I have been on their mailing list for a while and up until a couple of months ago, I rarely saw these things. Now I have seen several since Christmas

I just got a paper in the mail today, the paper says WE'RE ROLLING
BACK PRICES! (sounds like walmart) Why don't they send the 20% coupon in the mail with the paper.

I think it is regional because I haven't seen a coupon since around Christmas. Different barcodes are incredibly cheap to produce and are used to identify your purchasing habits.
Every order at our dry cleaning company has a different barcode.

I prefer the emailed coupons rather than the ones on the mailed flyers...I once got a mailed flyer with the 15% off coupon neatly removed, presumably by someone in the postal system.

HF frustrates me with their inconsistant pricing, the web site will have one price, then the store a different price. I've even snipped coupons on a specific item only to get in the store and it is already marked for less than the coupon price.

LOL Yea Harbor Freight can say they are rolling back prices because Wal Mart is rolling ahead the prices lately And showing a profit

Instead of trying to rip them off, why don't you just register at harbor fright and get your own.
