Hello. I recently modified a 3-point quick hitch to fit my skidsteer for using tractor implements. The boom pole is incredibly handy.

Ok, now you've gone and dun it - I gotta have one too. What did you use for pins to engage the bottom holes?

My 3pt adapter is light weight and tends to bend in places not intended...

:)

I didn't use the adapter extensively before I sold the Bobcat, but I never saw it flex when I used it with the boom pole. It is a standard cheapo Cat. 1 quick hitch from Harbor Freight with two pieces of angle welded together to form the upper channel and welded solid to the quick hitch. For the pins at the bottom (not shown in the photos) I welded four short pieces of angle (two per side) to match the angle of the bottom of the skidsteer plate. I then bored a 1/2" hole horizontally through each set of angles to accept a 1/2" hitch pin. The safety pins on the skidsteer catch on the 1/2" hitch pins, securing everything. The good thing about the way I did this is the fact that all you have to do is remove the two hitch pins and the quick attach will still fit a tractor. I wish I had built it years ago because it is so handy. When I buy another skidsteer I will have to build another one.

I did the exact same thing, with a quick attach for my Case 1445C, and even the red boom pole is the same.

WOW! That's a great price.

TSC wants $329 for the one that's in stock where I am.

JJ-- those are QAs for the 3 pt ....I believe what we're talking here are adapters that will convert the skid steer QA on front to accept a 3 pt implement....I bought one of those at HF for $70 and thought about buying a second one to convert for the FEL .... but I lost my welder to flood and busy getting ready to move....I took the easy way out and just bought one from TSC.
