Hi everyone.

I've been looking at cabs for my B7610 for a while now and was wondering if Kubota makes one for this tractor. I know that there are several companies (Curtis/Sims) that make aftermarket cabs but I read somewhere that Kubota makes one. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I haven't minded using the tractor to blow the snow off of my 1400' driveway but there are times I wish I had a cab for it. I'm hoping that there is one that is reasonably easy to remove since I live in the woods and do much of my summer work hauling firewood through the forest.

Any info or links about this would be appreciated. Oh yea, and anyone with either a Curtis, Sims or other brand of cab and their experience on installation/removal would also be appreciated. I've searched on this site but haven't been able to locate much info on it.

Thanks in advance!
Keith

Not here in the US. You have to go aftermarket for a cab for your tractor. The Curtis will probably be the least expensive complete cab, and as such, would be one of the easiest to remove.

There's also a company that makes a "weather brake" partial enclosure that is probably even cheaper than the Curtis, but is not a completely enclosed cab: FEMCO, Inc.

I installed a Curtis cab on my L3830 this past summer; it only took about 3 hrs for two of us to assemble. With installation of fuse panel, solenoid, heater, lights, switches I probably added another 20 hrs of time. After going through the work of installing all this, I don't plan on removing it anytme soon. An added feature I really like about this unit is it still fits in my 7' garage door when the rops is folded down.

I had a curtis cab w/ heat installed on my B7500 some years ago. It was a high quality cab and not real expensive! Be advised, once you own a cab machine, it becomes an addiction. You will never own an open station machine again!

That sounds like a good feature. I was a bit concerned about the height because a garage is in my future and I'd like to be able to drive in/out without having to do too much work. I'm not sure I'd go with the other options except lights, which I have a set now that do a nice job. But I know I don't need the cab in the summer since I don't use the tractor much and I only work when it's nice out.

Unfortunately I just missed a 'brand new' in the box Curtis cab on ebay. It was sold 'as-is' and as usual I got outbid in the last 3 seconds. Was a good deal at $635. SO, who on here just picked one up?

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately it looks like I either find one that is used or new at a reasonable price. I'll keep my eye on ebay & craigslist.
