Thumbnail pic problem

Recently when I click on a thumbnail picture, after I hit the back button, to continue reading the thread, the thread jumps to the top of the page post (the first post on that page). It is really annoying. How do I fix this?

You can't. It's user non-adjustable. You get to live with it.

My 'work around' is to right click the thumb nail and select open new window.

It is the most annoying thing on this forum. Hopefully the "right" people will make the proper adjustments to solve the problem.

At one time clicking on a attached picture would open up in a separate window, but 4 guys didn't like it so it got axed.
