I just dont get it: the crane dropped the load, but continue falling within seconds: But the outriggers seemed not to be broken !! ????

Well if you look closely, the stone was "set down" by the crane lifting in the rear. One would think this would stop the crane but it was then off balance as the stone swung around and fell over. Bottom line is that either the crane was not set up properly OR that stone was just too heavy for that crane. Pretty scary for those guys on the ground!

A crane operator is a job i just don't think i could do. Crane operators [especially in high rise buildings] get alot of respect from me.
