Case skidsteer

I've run a dozen differant 1845C and differant years. All the 1845C I have ever used had hand controls for the bucket/boom..
Never saw one with foot controls for the bucket/boom?

This is my first skidsteer. The hand controls control the steering. Now the handles are straight up, but they look like that could be set to horizontal for some other purpose.

A hydraulic auger/post hole digger runs off the low flow side and is controlled by the foot peddle. With the foot peddle you CAN control speed and direction of the auger.

Does the low flow aux hyd connection use the main drive pump? If so, that
is a variable displacement pump and would be controllable for speed. If not,
is there a separate implement pump that is variable displacement?

I don't have the manuals for the skidsteer yet, so I don't know about the pumps. However on my Power-Trac, the PTO is ran by a gear pump that is running all the time. The fluid goes through a manifold assembly that has a lever on the side that controls speed. The pump puts out 12 gpm, and you move the lever to go from stop to any speed up to full rpm. the excess gpm are sent back to tank. Some of the other Power-Trac machines have a solenoid valve for their PTO, and it comes on full rpm. They can only change the speed of the hyd motor by changing the engine speed. The gear pump is piggybacked on the rear of the variable speed pump.

Does anyone know what the air pressure should be in the Case 1845c tires. I looked all over the tires for the pressure, unless it's on the backside. I was surprised at the weight of the skid steer with no implement, 6000 lbs.

Another question on skidsteers. Which has the most force, the lifting arms or the tilt section, and what is breakout force?
