I have been in contact with RAD over the past couple days trying to figure out what is going on whith front mount snow equipment. They said that they will not sell directly to me. They also said that they are unable to track invnetory once it is delivered to Kubota, so any kind of time frame for delivery is unknown to them. I am still waiting to here if they have been shipping equipment to Kubota or if they have a big back log of orders that need to be filled. Every day that this goes on I get more frusterated and wisht that I had not even bought a new tractor.

Rad will not deal with anyone directly. Surprising that you got any kind of answer. I am also waiting for 2 blowers, quick hitches, etc. I called today and was told not until after the first of the year. I have had them retailed since August 2008.

Farmall,

Sorry to hear about the delay in getting some of your stuff. I just thought I would point out a bright spot, and that is that you will really like the way it all works. The set up that Kubota uses is absolutely elegant. Easy on, easy off, and tough as nails. I wish the Deere system for front end implements was as good.

It will be worth the wait.

KillerB,

Right now the wait appears to be indefinite. Do you know if the blade you have pictured in you photos is a regular or heavy duty blade? I was told there are 2 different 60 inch blades avaiable. I originally ordered the standard blade, but now I have told my dealer to look for either a regular or heavy duty blade.

As I know it for the BX there are two blades, a 54" manual angle and a 60" power angle.

Stuarth,

Thanks for the link. I will have to see what my dealer comes up with. I have already paid for the blade. I am not sure if they will do a dealer transfer or not.

It looks like I may get a blade this winter. I found a blade at a dealer on the east coast after calling all over on Saturday. I should know tomarow if they can ship it out to me or not.

I drove by the Kubota dealer's lot today (Michigan Sales in Marquette, Michigan) and every tractor they had displayed had a blower on it. You might give them a call.

Sorry, I do not recall, nor do I seem to have a photo with the model number of the blade showing. All I can say for sure is that it seemed very heavy duty to me. The steel was considerably thicker than the blade I am now using.

Best of luck.
