Purchased the tractor for $10,600.00 about 2 weeks ago. Spent what I would consider a large amount of money for such and old tractor. Did my homework. Spent about 6 months looking at (and learning about) used tractors on Craigslist and other lists in the southern NH area before buying this one. Problem is that I couldn't find a better value within 100 miles from home. The good news is that the tractor is in very good condition. Also, the tractor is big and built like a tank! This 4WD 40hp L-series tractor has rear tires that are about 4 1/2 feet tall. Did not realize how big the tractor was until I looked at one. And I thought my 2 1/2 foot Deere tires were big. I'm planning on using the tractor to pull logs up out of the woods located at the bottom of my steep hill. Also planning on using it to plow and maintain my 1/4 mile dirt driveway. Many other things as well. So far, with just a few hours of use the tractor has not disappointed me. "For my needs" the tractor feels like it has an endless supply of power and will likely never be undersized.

Pros: Very well made.
Cons: So far none.

Cons: Getting used to the laoder LA514.
