Cub Cadet 124 engine exchange question
I have a Cub 124 with a rototiller attachment that has a Kohler 12 HP K301. The engine has been dismantled and the crank shaft was miced out to 10under and I was able to get a connecting rod at 20...- docrocky

Cub Cadet 124 for sale

My restored 124
Model Year: 1967
I got this tractor on a trade. It was totally trashed. However with a little work on the motor I got it to run and the mower deck to work. I stripped it down repainted it and gave it new tires. I took it to the Redneck Plow day in the Upstate of SC back in April. It out plowed everyone. Fantastic tractor.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Could not use original seat

International Harvester Cub Cadet 124
Model Year: 1966
Bought as a basket case for a project tractor in 2005. I will get back operational this summer (2010) The engine I got isn't for this tractor, but still a Kohler so I am using it. It also came with a modified heavy duty blade that is hydraulic.
Pros: Very solidly built
