Pleased with Kubota

Have had my B7100 for 17 years and it has never failed me. Just do routine maintenance on it, no major failures. It has a front mount snow blower and belly mower. I also use it to pull trailer loads of fire wood. Planning to sell this spring and upgrade with a little larger Kubota.
Pros: Reliability & solidly built.
Cons: Kubota replacement parts can be expensive, but rarely needed.

B7100 HST
Model Year: 1993
This tractor does everything I have needed it to. It was purchased with a FEL and 60"belly mower. Add on power steering made using the FEL a dream. A counter balance weight made the loader much more usable. Since then I have added a 5 foot snow plow then up graded to a 6 foot plow which proved to be too big and will be cut back to 5'. A BX40 Wallenstein chipper works very well. The Kubota 48" front mount snowblower make large snow fall level easy to remove. A Kubota 610 backhoe has worked very well.The last attachment I have is a 7KW PTO generator. We ran it for 7days straight during an extended power outage. Overall I have found this tractor a great value.
Pros: Very versitile tractor and plenty of power for it's size.
Cons: Being my first tractor I didn't realize that it had no power steering.

So far a nice tractor, a little small so make sure you not expecting it to do things you would need a 50hp for. Loader good for small jobs, good idea to weight the 3 point, (weight box) when using the loader. Hydrostatic is nice, easy to regulate ground speed, bought a 3 point 4' snowblower, we'll see how that goes. Good for mowing and small landscape jobs. Mid mount PTO helps with different attachments like a belly mower.
Pros: Compact size, 4 wheel drive, good power for a 16 hp tractor. Can use aftermarket plus Kubota attachments.
Cons: Small for bigger jobs, light weight so you'll have to compensate for that.

Nice Little Tractor

I am the second owner of this little B7100 HST. It has 4x4 a loader and has been a reliable machine. Make sure to change the air filter frequently if you mow or work it in dusty areas. This little tractor is a bull. It's 17 horse engine is much stronger than I thought. The shuttle shift makes it very easy for snow removal and anyone who doesn't like to clutch. If you find a good used one, It is great for a hobby farm. I use it mostly for snow removal. With chains on it, it is amazing how high I can pile & push snow.
Pros: Small work-horse.
Cons: No power steering. It's a rough ride on rough ground.
