It ended up being stripped coupler on the engine. Ended up pulling both engine and pump. I unbolted the pump and could only get a finger tip on the end of the shaft and felt like the teeth were still there. Pump came out first because I needed the room to get at the coupler. I assessed and then came the engine because I couldn’t get the coupler apart (replacement motor with a Mickey Mouse coupler).

Hello...Did you ever get your engine/pump coupler issue resolved?
I just lost all my hydraulics on my Allmand and I think its the coupler between the engine and Eaton hydo pump.
I'll pull it apart in the next day or two and see if it's the splined shaft on the pump (worst case) or a stripped out coupler to the Kohler engine.
Let me know how you made out.
I have a 6210 with powrquad transmission it only goes toward even if I put it in reverse what is wrong
I mowed orchard grass/ fescue pastures with a 72inch Land Pride rotary mower on an MX5000 DT. Combination did well even when grass was as high as the bonnet of the tractor.
I lived in Waukesha before moving to Texas. Used to coach Rugby and got to see quite bit of SE 'Sconsin. Also went to UWW.

Where abouts are you (if you don't mind sharing).

Palmyra. It's always surprising how small a world it is.
Labrat, I see you're in Central Ny, grew up in Rochester, now living in Erie, PA. I see an old thread about you installing a CV Joint in the snow blower drive shaft. Can you share more information on part numbers and what was required?
