I have a question is regards to my new Ferris 1500. It seems that the left handle is not as responsive as the right. When I move the right handle, the response is immediate, but when I move the left, it doesn't appear that the machine is as quick to respond.

Is this a simple handle adjustment or could the problem be something else? I'm not 100% on this, but it also seems like the motor is working harder(louder) when I use the left handle.

Since it's new, have you called your dealer? Seems like there might be an adjustment needed...........

player, It is more than likely an adjustment , Mine was out a hair when I first used it , Half hour later it was fine after a slight ajustment.... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The steering lever is attached to the pump via a turnbuckle style connection ,Thats where I made my ajustments, Really no need to get dealer involved in that one, IMO that is /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

theplayer,

My Ferris IS 3000 does the same thing, I mentioned it to the dealer and there response was one side will always be a little stonger than the other side. Kind of mimicks our own bodies. If it is signficant take it back to the dealer for adjustment.
