Hi Folks,
We're in the market for a zero turn mower, and I'd like it to be a Kubota, as we're near the dealer and have a good relationship with them. We're a flower farm that lets folks come and pick their own flowers, so keeping the grounds up is important, and we mow 2 to 3 acres throughout the season. Question is, should I spring for one of the new kommanders, or pick up a '99 Zg222 with 250hrs, both 23 HP, 48" deck, both priced at $4500? Thanks for your input!

I don't have either. But I would say depending on the condition of the used mower. Figure its 15 years old. The new one has a 4 year or 300 hr warranty.

I had a commercial Toro zero turn. It had 450 hrs when I traded it in. I've seen them with over a thousand hrs.

How much do you have to cut? Is it flat or hilly land?

The used mower is a commercial mower vs a homeowner mower. We have Kubota ZD's out with over 7,000 hours on them with normal servicing only.
