zerox copier not workin, ideas?

got a zerox xc1040 copier that just stopped putting print on copies.

It's an older unit.. say from 98 or so.. but been a good copier.

we repalce the drum when signaled, same as the tonor.

I've had to change the fuser lamp once, and the corona wire ( they call it a cortron wire ) module once as well.

While I'm not a copy repair man.. electronics is not new to me.. and I've done a good bit of copy repair ( parts replacement ) on toshiba unit as well as basic disassembly and cleaning on zerox units.. replacing modules..e tc.

when you cope if you set to darkest intensity, you may get a ghost image on the paper the last 2 ".. but nuttin else.

lamp at the top glass is coming on and transport works and moves up and back. paper feed seems fine.. tonor cartridge is new within a few weeks, and drum indicastor is not on.

eh.. can you be a lil less vauge?

( paper feed mechanism is working fine.. paper picks up, goes thru mechanism right past tonor and drum, and out thrui the fuser, nice and warm and bright white )

looking at the tonor cartridge, it is still full and the lil roller that picks up the tonor keeps a nice fuzzy full covering, as it is spun. and drum is realitively new.. say.. month old..
