Zero Turn that cuts like my simplicity

I have a regent for my lawn tractor and a Kubota BX also that I use for lawn cutting also. Mainly on the back yard.

I love the cut of my simplicity. I can see the difference between it and my BX and I can see the difference between my neighbours lawn tractors.

So.. not knowing a lot about zero turns.. (Yes I know simplicity makes them and Ferris)

Do they cut like the regent with the free floating deck?

I was thinking about getting the Ferris is700Z as the replacement for the regent when it goes. I need something built strong (which my regent is not) and has a great cut.
I like the idea of the shocks on the ferris / simp models.

Appreciate you thoughts. It doesn't have to be ferris or simp either.

Your Ferris will give you the best cut imaginable, second to none in the industry, but not without maintenance.

Deck leveling, spindle greasing, blade sharpening and tire pressure balancing to name a few issues.

I've had my '03 1000Z since '05 and it still cuts like a dream. Then again, it's only got 900 hours on the clock.

Get dirty and you'll love the machine. Pay someone else to do the work and you'll be whining a lot.

Myself? I love working on my stuff. So a day in the shop is a good day.

We have had a number of mowers. Currently have a Walker GHS 48" and a few Scags. The Walker is nice because the rear hopper holds large amounts of grass and the cut quality is very good. But .. The Scag cut is outstanding. It is also a 48" with a Velocity deck. I know there are several different deck options with Scag but that set up is great. Stripes are very pronounced and it stands the grass up while cutting better than any other we have seen or used. Down side is the small grass catcher fills up very fast and on a big lawn it's a pita.
