Any idea why NH uses metric zerks on the tractor and standard on loaders?? You'd think they could be the same, either all metric or all standard!!!

The FEL is probably mfg by other than NH, but don't know for sure

They're trying to be like Ford. You can find a bunch of mixed nuts on almost any Ford. Maybe there is a merger coming and Big Blue will again be Ford tractors.

Jinman is correct (typical). Tractor is made in Japan, therefore metric. Loader is made is USA, therefore "standard".

My tractor came with a zerk missing from the brake shaft, and I haven't been able to find one to fit it. I just grease the other zerk until it squirts out of the missing zerk hole. :D
