Zen-noh Yanmar 22-24 transmission problem

Good for you and Hoye!! I honestly didn't think you would find much of anything for parts. I've owned my yanmar for 10 yrs. and only used 1st. gear a handful of times. Which I don't think you can actually get much slower. I almost thought you quit on it since you haven't posted anything. Make sure you post picks of the new parts.

Gears are here!
Parts match up, and am installing now. I'll get the shaft assemblies back in tonight, gasket material comes in either tomorrow or the next day, and working on a final order from Hoye for some nick nacks..

And here's a quiz... with this being a grey market tractor, what's wrong with this picture?
While cleaning up the 3 point hitch lift, I noticed this;

Just curious why you would take the time to make a gasket vs useing rtv silicone or some other gasket maker to seal it up? Not that there is anything wrong with making a gaket....just asking. Me personally i would use silicone to seal it. But again thats me...just trying to see your reason, maybe i will change things up if i think your way is better.

Ok i can live with that.

I'm with you. Only thing I would look for is if I thought it may have been warped or something. Then maybe a gasket. Never hurts I guess.

Yes, grade 7, but not the answer I'm looking for. Hint #2, where was the tractor made?
