ZD331 issues

Hello, my father was using our ZD331 today. He pulled it up to the house and turned it off to add fuel. He went to restart it and nothing. We can hear something click when we turn the key. I have checked the petal switch, both arm switches, the fuses and relays under the seat and all good. Tried to hot wire the starter and wouldn't crank. Took it to town to be tested and it passed, so lost. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you. It has about 481 hours on it.

You may have checked this but you didn't mention it. Make sure the switch is off that engages the blades.

The pto lever was off. What causes the tractor to switch off if the pto is on and you get off the seat? We were thinking maybe that switch was bad, but it looks all mechanical. Thank you.

When I had a ZD331 the no start was either the the parking brake not being set or the control arms not being all the way out. No clicking noise at all.
Check your ground wires
, All safety switch issues I have encountered have had no reaction from the start position.
