Hey everyone.
I purchased a new ZD21 and B7610 back in 2004.After my purchase I read that my model has tranny issues.I expressed my concern to my dealer.I told them of a retro kit available (read from this forum).I offered to pay for it.They said don't worry about it.I always had p m/service work completed at dealer.Well...I have no left side drive and the reservoir smells like burnt oil.UGH!!! My biggest fear is coming true.My dealer says that it is out of warranty.I will have to pay $2000 to repair.My ZD has 182 hours and looks brand new.I only use it on my 4 acres of FLAT grass. I'm just sick!! I paid $9200 for this tractor and now I have to pay another 2 grand?? I would have been better off buying an MTD at walmart and put the money in the bank.If anyone can help or have suggestions, please let me know.Thanks
