Zd1211 oil

What weight oil comes from factory in zd1211. My dealer says it’s 10w-30. Is that correct? Wanted to get oil for my first change but wasn’t sure since books says either 10-30 or 15-40

Has anyone swapped to synthetic? I swapped over in my scag with 3cyl diesel with great results. (Amsoil) but that’s a 3cyl turbo that works works hard in the same conditions the kubota purrs through

Kubota seems to like 10w30 oil, so I suspect your dealer is correct (plus the dealer is prepping machines with lubes).
3 out of 4 Kubota machines I have started using synthetic at the 50h initial service. The other machine was bought used, and also switched out to 5w30 synthetic.

The dealer does not ‘prep’ Kubota machines with lubes. Lubes are factory filled and checked before retail sale.
