Z-Force 60 Motor Replacement

Hi all, new here but looking for advice. I've got an option to pickup a CC Z-Force 60 that has a locked up 25 HP Kohler. The owner has had zero issues with this aside from obviously the motor locking up. Issue happened when the filter gave way while motor and ran dry.

What motor do you like best when considering a replacement? Kohler, Kawaski, any others recommend.

Best advice is to take the model and spec number then contact someone like Small Engine Warehouse. Best? Kawasaki. Kohler is fine, but I don't find their replacement engine pricing based in reality. Kawasaki seem to know their worth as well. Briggs twins are more affordable and are fine engines. They've been pushing their more commercial engines too.

Kohler man here!! B & S quality has fallen thru the floor! Still have them here and use them but Kohler is a bit better in the long run. NONE of them are as good as they were years ago! All made in chimna now! SADLY!
My z-force 48 has a 22 B & S on it ---- always something wrong with it. Hardest starting animal on the planet!!!!!!!!!!
