YT359c Dealer states insurance from Yanmar will be $10,000.

I found a dealer with a YT359c, cab, loader, backhoe, and third function. The dealer quoted me the price on the phone, and I filled out the Yanmar link, which was approved. The dealer sent the quote right before 5:00 p.m., which was $10,000 over the discussed price. For my much more expensive 4075r from JD, the insurance was only $1800. The quoted insurance is more than double what Yanmar lists per $1000 on their website. It was too late to call my insurance provider, but I was interested to see if others had seen similar quotes.

I have watched many videos on yanmar from PR Equipment. I called them to ask about the crazy insurance rates and he said that is the norm for yanmar due to who they use for financing. The people at PR were amicable and spoke with me for a long time about that and the tractor.

Yeah, that's absolutely insane. I don't remember exactly, but my insurance added a couple bucks a month to the length of the loan- not $200+.

That's nuts. Call your county Farm Bureau Ins. office for a quote.
