YT359 loader won’t float

I took my FEL off the other day to make it easier to do some maintenance under the hood. I reinstalled my loader and hooked everything up right and now my loader won’t float. Im not sure if this is just a coincidence or what.
Anyone know what to check?

So when you push the lever all the way forward to the locked position the float doesn’t work? And you feel the lever go into the locked position?

Not near my tractor to check, but is there a silver selector for the joystick operation straight down from the joystick? Does that lock that feature out?

I do not feel it go into the locked position like it normally does when you float.

That silver selector is just a joystick lock. That locks all functions out.

If you did not get the hoses mixed up (color coded as you know) the next thing I would check are the rod actuators down on the cable ends of the joy stick. These are outside, underneath the right hand side of the frame, just trace the cables coming from the joy stick. See if the rods that feed into the actuators for fluid flow are free from friction and hooked up properly. They can get rather stiff so some synthetic lube or light grease will help them slide. This also gives you confirmation that they are working while moving the joy stick while standing on the ground and looking at the cable ends. Check your FEL manual too, there might be help there.

I did check the rods that go to the actuator and they looked like they were moving good but didn’t really pay that much attention to it. I will look more closely tomorrow.
The loader manual wasn’t much help.
