Propane powered M is 49-52 model. H is about the same. Newest is the Ford 1300 which is a 2 cyl diesel, 83 model bought new for 5500.00 Engine has about 30 hrs on rebuild.

My M is in that same model range. I've never seen a propane powered one.

Bought my NH TC-30 new 14 months ago & it has 285 hrs on it. Bought my (probably late 1960's) MF 3165 (industrial w/backhoe) about 8 months ago (it had 1780 hrs then and about 1880 hrs now). When the MF Hoe is working (I had to have brakes redone & hoses are pretty shot), I use them both about equally. Once I finally get all of the trees down, the MF Hoe will see much less use.

1951 model 8N.................or roughly 58 or so years old.

It's older than me by a great amount (25 years or so) but it never fails to fire or run. It's my boy. Before that I grew up on an NAA and a MM-U.

All the PS, power steering, 4wd, etc. stuff I yawn at..............never had it. A tractor is a tool that requires some expense like swinging a hammer. If it doesn't, I might as well buy an Escalade and retire myself.

If I could replace it.........it would be with a new Mahindra 3325/3525....................and to heck with the rest.

We'll last fall and this spring we finished upgrading our tractors, the T2220 is new Nov 08 and the DX60 was new in March 09.

The tractors we upgraded from were a 1955 JD60, and a 1947 Fordson 9N/2N tractor and a 1075 IH 1066.

Did you trade those in, or sell them privately??

We first traded in the 9N on the DX25, but it was more of a lawn mower than tractor with the turf tires, we then traded the DX25 and the JD60 in on the T2220, got a good deal and 0% interest loan also.

About the end of March I called the dealer and asked if we were going to trade in the IH1066 this fall did I need to repair a couple things (AC line leaking, needed to install the interior foam kit) or just trade it like it was. He said if I throw enough money at it would I trade it in by tomorrow and I said sure, he came out and ended up giving me about $5000.00 more than I had in the unit when I got it 15 years ago and then knocked several thousand off the DX60. Again they gave us 0% interest loan also.

I really do not like to sell and deal with people, my dealer has been more than fair on our dealings. They are a good dealer and I like to support them.
