Your towing rigs and trailers

The 78 ford you speak of was a very detuned 351M which is not to be confused with the 351C or 351W both of which were much better motors.

Being a little younger and naive, I ask without research, what is the 351m? I know the other two. I had a 351w in my bronco. Slow as cold molasses but could pull a house.

Now I look at three of the same engines. How could they be so different with the same specs. OR did they have different specs? Sorry, long fun evening, I may not be thinking clearly.

I went with the 14k 20+5 GN too. Then I realized that it wasn't always going to be enough. Seems like you always find bigger projects once you start down this path. Even 10,0000 lb pieces of equipment start to push the limits of the 14K trailers once you start adding chains, tools and the weight of the trailer itself. Ended up with the 27+5 20K.

Very true! Although I think right now the main thing limiting me is how much I am away from home. 210+ days gone on a non-deployment year makes it hard to get the smaller projects finished

I think I may have posted in this thread before, but that was with my first business trailer which was 7x14. Truck is a 1997 F Super Duty with 7.3.
Here's the new 7x18:

Umm, I think you need a bigger bucket for that thing, it looks way to small.
