From the looks of your pics you need two things. 1) a Longer trailer and 2) a weight distribution hitch. The weight distribution hitch will transfer tongue weight evenly through the truck frame. When adjusted properly it slightly reduces down pressure on the back of the truck and applies or distributes it through the frame to the front of the truck.

You need something like this Weight Distribution Trunnion Style When set up properly the weight is moved from the tongue to the front wheels and the trailer wheels. Makes towing a heavy trailer much safer. Less tiresome too.

I've been looking to uprade to the V10 or diesel...would like to get the V10 due to $ difference if the performance is similar.
just jumping in here with my 2 cents. In 2003 I bought a Dodge 2500 ext cab V10. I had a Dodge 1500 5.9. I had a 30ft travel trailer that I pulled from job to job, The 5.9 would do it, but with a struggle. I tried out the Ford F250 V10 and it just didnt have the ump that I wanted. Trust me on what I'm saying, that Dodge V10 that was in my truck was a monster, I went to pass a truck, I was pulling the camper, it was in Fla on the 4 lane and when I got pass him and looked I was going almost 90. All I did was punch it and I didnt realize I was going that fast. I said to myself OH S-it this thing will go/pull. Gas mileage, I had the computer on board and I thing I was getting around 14-16mpg normal driving, pulling the camper I think was around 9mpg. I sold the truck and camper when I got in the construction business at home. I have a Ford F350 460 gas dually, now that pulls my gooseneck equipment trailer. It doesnt have near the ump as the V10. If I were to buy another truck it would be a Dodge V10, the diesel just makes too much noise. But thats just my 2 cents worth.

Here you go...I don't pull often, maybe once every months. I go easy and plan ahead for stops. No drama if the tractor is loaded properly on the trailer.
