Anybody still have some?

You know what I'm taking about...the fruits of your labors from your garden or orchard endeavors. What else right

I getting down to the nitty gritty this time of year. Used up all my pickled hot peppers now, and the local onions I had gotten from another grower.

Still have butternut. And plenty of apples for applesauce. But I cooked the huge Hubbard squash I had (plus froze what I didn't eat yet).

Just took some of my blueberries out of the freezer guessing I'll make some blueberry pancakes later today. I had a great blueberry harvest last season. I still have some homemade apple plum sauce and strawberry rhubarb jam to get into yet.

And tomatoes made sauce again this week...only have one batch of garden tomatoes left now in the freezer

Boy all that self-sustainablity the generations before had hey?


And of course some of us Northerners are now waiting on that maple syrup season yet to come still.

still have a lot of jams and also onions and herbs left. caribbean hot peppers in the freezer too with other sweet red peppers. we still get 4 eggs or so a day too from the 5 chickens.

Still have one huge Italian butternut squash, some sweet potatoes and frozen raspberries (freeze on cookie sheet to keep from sticking together). Ate the bag of frozen blueberries already. Used up all the white potatoes.

I got 26 Acorn squash this year. Ate the last one about two weeks ago.

my regular potatoes are pretty sad. my sweet potatoes are still great. still have a lot of frozen tomato sauce, beans, some peppers. still have onions and garlic. still have dried summer squash and dried tomatoes. and a few large bags of whole frozen tomatoes. a bag of dried mustard greens.

Still have onions. Freezer has green beans & tomatoes from last summer & have canned green & wax beans from previous seasons. We didn't build this house, but whoever did welded 12" long angle irons to the concrete form tabs on the front & one side basement garage walls for shelves, then added doors. Make excellent storage space!

We still have canned green beans and dill pickles. I greatly over estimated use of pickles this year. Some frozen corn and squash and zucchini left. But we have plenty of beaf but still need to think about keeping a calf for slaughter next year.
