I don,t understand why we even need Canada Post these days ? I doubt if they have ever not been a huge corporation that looses millions and millions of our tax dollars every year. With so many other ways to move information and parcels way more effectively, and profitable, why do we need Canada Post ?And they still lose billions, have you ever thought about what it takes to get a letter from point A to point B? It's a money loser, especially with the low volume these days.
No private company is going to deliver anything to remote areas for an affordable cost if they are willing to do it at all. We are subsidizing those areas.
