Kubota BX22
Hi,

I'm Tom, have a BX22, I've neglected her for awhile, going out first thing in the morning to buy the specified "KUBOTA SUPER UDT fluid"...probably not necessary, but how does one know?

No way TO know. But if you care about your tractor you might as well invest in quality fluids, it's cheap insurance.

Welcome to TBN!!! Yes, I would get the Kubota fluids vs generic...

Kubota now has a new version of SUDT, I think it's Kubota Super UDT2, it's synthetic and slightly less expensive that SUDT. I will use the new Kubota Super UDT2 next time in my tractor.

I think the BX series has a suction strainer that has to be cleaned or replaced. I bought a new one for the BX1500 If I remember correctly it was about $10. I was surprised at how much better the little Kubota operated after the fluid change.
