This entire hot, dry summer I resembled that with my tractors and batwing cutters on ranches.

I sure went through a lot of grease too! If I hadn't greased the hell out of all my fitting it would have been like sandpaper wearing things down.

Went through lots of filters too.

Anytime I go 'out west' hunting, my snake proof gaiters are always packed in my grip and worn when out hunting. Not taking any chances on getting bit.

I work full time in climate controlled factory and really enjoy my outside time after work and on weekends on my tractors. You couldn’t pay me enough to own a cabbed tractor.

I do like my home-made canvas over wood tractor canopy when it’s sunny or raining though. It’s big, deep, and light weight and real easy to remove when I want to fold the roll bar down for more overhead clearance. Maybe I’ll consider a cab, after I retire in about 5 years.

some 2x6's couple 4x4's some tin for the roof all done

That's because you live in a climate controlled part of the country.

I'll see you up here in Feb, when it's 5am, it's -40F and the wind is blowing snow sideways at 30-40 mph, and the driveway has 3-4 feet of drifted snow on it that has to be cleared so you can get to work. That's no cheating "wind chill" BS either.

In winter time up here, we just call that "Tuesday".
