ym240 radiator

I bought a chinese radiator for my ym240. It does not have a threaded opening for the petcock. It does have a small nipple on the lower left side where I attached a small piece of fuel line with a bolt stuck in the end with a couple of small clamps. Has anybody found the fitting that is supposed to go in the hole for the block drain? I'd like to hook it up like the parts manual indicates. Thanks, jbrd

There are several types of these rads. Mine has the nipple just like your talking about. The original was like that as well as the replacement. The reason is that that hose connects to a petcock on the frame that also has a hose that goes to the bock connected to it that will drain the bock and radiator simultaneously when you remove the bolt on the petcock. Sone i beleive also, may have had nothing. I am pretty familiar with the radiators as i had several "used" ones before they (dealer) replaced it with a new one. The new one was still a little fatter and slightly talking centimer or so taller i think.
