Well I had tried everything that sailor told me in that link. Filter bled, filter to the injector is flowing fine, injector was bled in that order. Now when I crank the engine after I loosend up the fuel injector lines there was no fuel spray or ooze out of either line. When I crank the engine the smoke is white is that good or bad? I have put alot of time into trying to get this tractor working and something just keeps popping up. I will update the post if I find the problem..

"Filter bled, filter to the injector is flowing fine, injector was bled in that order."

What does that mean? Are you saying injector where you really mean pump? You must get good fuel flow to the pump bleeder. If you have that, but no spray to injectors when cranking, then bad pump$$.

I still think that bleeding your system can solve this problem! I struggled with it the first time I did it. I thoughtthat there is alot wrong but it was just air in the lines. I was mowing one day and it quit running. The fuel bowl had a leak, I got a new fuel bowl and o ring and reblead the tractor and it ran just fine. I did have some white smoke when it would not run!!! I bled it several times but it would not run long until I got the new bowl....

I bought another new fuel filter this morning and bled the lines again and started right up. Only thing I can think of is when I pressure washed my fuel tank I didnt give enough time for the water to dry before putting fuel in the tank. Which allowed water to ruined the first new filter I had bought. Glad it wasnt a fuel pump/injector problem. Thanks for all yalls replys and look for my new question..Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

wooh hoo! Glad ya got her goin! It could be that by opening the bowl you broke a vacuum that was causing the block? I doubt your filter was already ruined with water!! If there was that much water in the tank you'd still be having trouble.... I thought for a bit that my tractor had a big problem too. It was just airlocked........congrats!!!

You pressure washed the inside of the fuel tank?

Yeah I took the tank off and then took the fuel valve off the bottom. I pressure washed through the top and let it drip dry in the sun. I had alot of residue in there and read on here someplace that you could pressure wash it out. Everything is fine now I put about 6 hours in today and a fresh tank of diesel. No problems to report accept my hydraulic fluid that needs to be changed asap and lightbulbs.
