I am looking at buying a 72 inch finish mower
and I am wondering if this unit has enough power to run it

A buddy of mine runs a 72" finish mower behind his YM1500D (a very close match to your 195) and says he has no problem powering it. The real problem is the weight of the mower - it's almost too much for the tractor.

The question is not so much whether you can power it, but how fast can you mow with it behind your 195. Under conditions where you are up against the power limits of your 195, you just have to slow down. You could mow faster with a 5' mower, but you only cut 5' wide rather than 6'.
