YM1700 How may hrs on a tank

Does anyone know how many hours a YM1700 will run at working speed on 5 gallons?

Depending on the type of load but I average about 1/2 gallon per hour on mine. Maybe a little less if I am bush hogging.

Almost always under 1/2 gallon per tach hour, and a tach hour can take two wristwatch hours in light work such as running the backhoe or stacking brush for burning.

I cut 4 acres with mine. Takes about 3 hours. I've used less than a quarter tank.

I've heard that these tractors were engineered to work for 8 hours on a tank. It would still depend on how hard you worked it.

most of my work is very light and I run my YM1700 at about 1800 rpm. My little jewel gets about 4 hours per gallon of diesel.

don't know how much it gets . but I would say it is close to 4 hours per gallon. but I only use it for light stuff.

I'm going strictly by clock hours. I've never timed my tach to see how it relates to time....I'll have to do that some time.
