Dang if I can find it, in my manual or online. Must be going blind, I was thinkin' more like 9/16" ? Am I wrong ? Thanx

On my 2000 the alternator is on a bracket allowing it to adjust slack out of the belt.

Not sure of the question but the I&T manual states 3/8-5/8" deflection with appx 20 lbs force midway between pulleys.

Looking back at the original post, I am not sure of the question either? Haha I read it quick and was thinking it was asking how to adjust it? I am lost now too, unless it is asking what you answered, how much slack there should be in belt.

Yes sir, i should of asked about tension or slack in the belt, sry.. Thank you all for the input and answer of 3/8"-5/8", so 9/16" is what i set it as. Happy Trails !!
