PTO, 3 pt, most of FEL works. FEL is jerky. 3 pt waits several seconds longer than normal before operating at normal speed. Are these symptoms common for a clogged filter?

Yup! With no visible problems. And clean the pickup or a Valve body screen and filter replaced or whatever it calls for. I believe that is the problem...

Pulled filter this morning. Yuuuuuccccchhhh!!! Wish I had taken a picture. Cleaned filter and filled with 3.5 gal of 303. NEW TRACTOR!!!! Everything smooth and fast!

However, loader still droops, but not nearly as fast. It appears the right cylinder is bypassing because pump doesn't drag down till the left cylinder extends a tiny bit after the right one stops moving. Anyone know where to take a hydraulic cylinder for rebuilding? Would an automotive machine shop be able to do it?

There are specialty hydraulic shops anywhere there are tractors, construction equipment, trucks, forklifts, etc. Possibly the nearest big city but in my case adjacent to a farm town of 10,000.

I paid $165 to have a cylinder resealed. I watched, it looked simple. So next time I went to HF and bought a 36" pipe wrench, added a cheater pipe on that, and disassembled the cylinder myself. $10 for seals total cost.

Pro tip: leave the cylinder attached while you loosen the end cap so you have something to pull against. And leave the opposite end attached when you unscrew the bolt at the tip of the internal piston rod.

This isn't complicated. Just be careful to not ding any precision surfaces.

Thanks! I am a recently retired Delta aircraft mechanic so I should be able to beat any precision surface into submission with the only tool I use since, my trusty BFH! ;0)

My cousin and her husband both work for delta @ Hartsfield. For as long as I can recall. He's a Tech and she's a over sea's attendant...... Good for you to be on here!! BTW..........

I just looked at Wikipedia, Delta has 86,000 employees! I can see how you don't all know one another.

I have a relative in Delta too, a station agent for years then he transferred to purser/flight attendant working out of Atlanta for the final years of his career. He and his wife travel at every opportunity. They've been everywhere. Weekend in London, Paris, Rome, wherever, no problem!
