ym1500 flasher unit

first i wish you all a merry x mas. ok guys my flasher unit seems to be not working turn to either signal side the lamp lights but dose not flask? had a look on hoyes site and see a two pronged flasher for my ym 1500 but mine has a metal bracket with a hole to hold to back of dash? but have you guys used any other flashers or found othere ones work just the same? thanks

on my 1700 I got a generic one from walmart... note.. flashers come in 2 types nowadays. t he old thermal bi-m strip, and the new electrronic flasher. you have to use the e-one for led lamps and low draw lamps.

ill have to check into that as we dont have walmart here but thanks for letting me know.

any auto store should have a generic flasher module..
