Grading YM1401 rear blade???

I have a YM1401 as was stated above. I went to my "welding butler" and asked him how much to fabricate one, and he said it would be about $100. Of course, that is not painted, and with the " if it breaks I will re-weld it for free" guarantee. But, I want a 4' one. Who has one? I am sure that Len will have one, but does he have a web site? I know that there used to be a dealer in a place by Bakersfield, CA that had a bunch of them, but he has no web site now. So, price and shipping would be helpful.

Tractor Supply Co. has 4ft blades but you won't get them for $100.

Maybe $159 or so. My 5' was $159-169 painted.

I picked up a nice used 5' blade from a used implement dealer for $100. He has several right now, but he is in Illinois. I'm sure if you look for one of those guys that just like dealing in used implements (hobby more or less), you'll find one. Of coarse here in corn country these guys are everywhere. With the number of family farms declining, there is a lot of old equipment around. Now the town folk like myself are buying it for our lanscaping and gardening chores.

Just to complete the picture of what is available, take a look at the "do-everything" blades. Several companies make them. Mine is made by Landpride, and is a RB3472. It would be too much for a les than 30 hp tractor. But with some urging one of these implement companies could sell a lot of high dollar blades to us implement-happy tractor guys.

Those blades don't only angle, they tilt and offset. Plus they have end plates, shoes, and digger teeth available. They also weight 3 or 400 lbs. Expect the prices to be $800 or so
