Don't know how much. The fluid should meet John Deere (JD) 303 specs. It should list this on the container. Post tjis a little father down ( in the yanmar part) some members have these (1500) yanmars. Nine is a 3110, but the fluid is the same
Go by the spec "jd 303" but its any UTF for trans and hydro common sump fluid like these guys said. I know a ym2000 is 4 gallons so a 1500 is prolly that or a shade under. I would buy a 5 gallon bucket and put in 3 and check it then add a half gallon or a gallon depending upon the level, im thinking 3.5 gallons maybe.
hi there everyone
thank for reply
i cant find anything here in oz with the spec of "jd 303"
what i can find is utf oil name "hi gard" utf oil from jd dealer
is that would work?
That should be fine. The Yanmars are simple, durable machines. Anything designed for use in hydraulic pumps and gear transmissions will do everything required. John Deere Hy-Gard will be great, as well as anything recommended by another major manufacturer like Kubota, Allis-Vhalmers, International Harvester, etc.
